topic ExtractBOM not working - InternalValidationError in Fusion API and Scripts Forum

Hello,

Not sure if this is the right place, but I am just finishing up designing myself a CNC machine with Fusion 360. It has been a long process but I decided from the get go to add each and every bolt so that I could have a BOM at the end since there are so many parts. Unfortuantley running the ExtractBOM script gives me the error shown in the picture. It is likely my fault since the design is so complex and I've changed so many things. Not to mentioned screwed up many things along the way. I'm know there are warnings throughout the design history due to me learning Fusion360 as I've gone.

Any ideas would be appreciated. If having access to the deisgn would help I can post a link.

Thanks!

James

Hello,

Thank you for posting the issue. It is right place to ask API/Scripts questions.

From the snapshot, it looked something was wrong in your dataset. Is it possible you share me a copy of your dataset? You could send it to me by email(marshal.tu@autodesk.com).

Thanks,
