topic Calling Fusion API Scrips from OS command line. in Fusion API and Scripts Forum

I appologize if this has been answered elsewhere but I didn't see it.

I'd like to write a script and call it from either MATLAB or command prompt.

Is that possible? How would I do that?

For my use I would assume Fusion 360 is running in the background with some model already open.

Thank you so much for the reply.

Althought it's not ideal I think I'll have MATLAB shift shift window focus to Fusion 360 and then send keyboard presses.

Hi,

I created a feature request for this at http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/ideastation-request-a-feature-or/allow-external-calls-to-your-api-from-applescript-or-custom-key/idi-p/6418533.

Please have a look there and vote for this having a chance to be picked up by the Fusion 360 developers 🙂
