Hi, I am new to the Fusion 360 API programing environment; I ‘am using python to extrude a set of profiles corresponding to a single sketch in my model. My strategy is to build an object collection to store the set of desire profiles for my extrusion. I am having trouble, however, in identifying what are the numbers of the profiles in the sketch that I want to extrude. Is there a smart way of doing this?

You'll need to figure out some way to geometrically determine which profiles you want. You can query the geometry that defines the shape of each profile and then you can use that to decide which profiles to use for your extrusion. If you can post a picture of your sketch and which profiles in the sketch you want we might be able to provide some suggestions on how you might do that.

I had luck getting what I wanted by using the profile with the most loops.

Please post sample showing what you hope to get.
