Sketch Palette Missing | MARCH 2025

Hello,

I just updated Fusion 360 to the latest version today(3/11/25), and after the update, my Sketch Palette is completely missing. No matter what I do, I can’t seem to bring it back.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

Ctrl + Alt + R – I’ve pressed this multiple times, but it doesn’t seem to do anything.
Restarting Fusion 360 – I’ve closed and reopened Fusion several times, but the Sketch Palette still doesn’t show up.
Using Only My Laptop Display – I usually work with two external monitors, but I thought the Sketch Palette might be stuck on a different screen. So, I unplugged both monitors, restarted Fusion, and tried Ctrl + Alt + R again. Unfortunately, this also didn’t fix the issue.
Checking for UI Resets – I haven’t changed my workspace layout, and everything else seems normal, except for the missing Sketch Palette.

At this point, I’m out of ideas. Has anyone else experienced this issue after the latest update? If so, is there a workaround or a way to manually bring back the Sketch Palette?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I figured it out. Here are the steps:

Open Fusion 360
In the top-right corner, click your account icon (your name or initials)
Click “Preferences”
In the Preferences window:
- On the left panel, go to:
  General > General
- Find the setting that says “Start My Fusion In”
- Change it to “Design” from the dropdown menu
Click Apply, then OK
Restart Fusion 360

The same trouble I had since they issued "electronic design". Tried everything!!! Your advise works! Thank you
