Hi guys,

I'm sure this is something silly but here goes.

using the FM Gears add in to model some replacement change gears for my old lathe.

everything works well apart from when i click OK to generate the gear its placed on the front face rather than the top, I.E. the gear is standing up. I've tried selecting the top face before starting the gear, I Have the Z axis set as up.

Anyone experienced this and found a fix?

TIA

It would be best to directly contact the developer and ask them. Their contact information is shown with the app on the Autodesk App Store.

https://apps.autodesk.com/FUSION/en/Detail/Index?id=6294804001663532834&appLang=en&os=Win64

Worst case you can create it and then move or use joints to reposition it where you want.
