Unable to create a new material in FormIt Windows Desktop

I just installed FormIt on a Windows 10 desktop. I am unable to create a new material. As soon as I click the icon, the blue circle of death spins for a couple of seconds, and then FormIt disappears. No error message, nothing. It just goes away.

Help?

Hi @MattDillon247,

Sorry about this. Are you running on a Dell machine? There's a known issue where Dell Backup + Recovery can cause crashes in apps like FormIt. If you're on a Dell, take a look at that thread and try uninstalling or updating the Backup + Recovery software.

If you're not on a Dell, we'll have to troubleshoot deeper.
