I have noted when exporting masses from Forma to Revit some masses jump randomly, it happens with the same masses in different proposals! what is going on with the exporter? and how long is going to be a beta?

@BIMadmin @F.Garcia6Y866 We are sorry to hear you are having trouble with the Forma <> Revit integration.

When you say this happens in multiple proposals, are the buildings you are seeing issues with in the proposals, or in the base?

The easiest way for us to trouble shoot this would be to access your Forma project directly.

If you are comfortable sharing your project URL with our development team, you can send it to me in a Private Message and we will see if we can find the problem.

It happens with basic buildings modelled in the proposals not in base.

Hey guys,

Sorry but the Forma to Revit Exporter is a joke!!! it does not work, it makes so many major mistakes.
Please take a look at the differences!!!!

@F.Garcia6Y866 - We can see what you are showing us but we cannot investigate without the project you are using.

I have sent you a direct message after our last exchange to which you can reply with your project URL and we will take a look at what is going on.

Hi Smilksh,

You should be able to investigate this already as I sent you the link on the 25/07/24 and follow by an email asking for answers but no reply whatsoever.

what is even more frustating is when I try to create a technical support case and I found out that Forma is unsupported.

Nevermind I will keep trying and I will send you the link again.

You can try exporting Option 1 Massing
In our end we are using Revit 2022 and the latest Forma Addin.

In a way to shortage the issue, we have found out that the problem happens when exporting masses, when using walls, floors and roofs is fine.

so if you only export masses, with the below settings is when it fails

We were able to find data we were missing and are currently working on the fix.

The function should now be available on mass floors, this is a server-side fix. We are working on a release of the add-in for the positioning fix.

Can you be more specific please?

I have tested it in:

Existing Mass in Current Proposal.

New Mass in Current Proposal.

New Mass in New Proposal.

But I dont get the Usage Values.

I am working in Revit 2022.

Is this the parameter that should store the data?

Sorry, looks like I misunderstood a status report. I thought that the server-side change was enough to resolve this issue. We are still working on this.
