topic Structural Analysis and Seismic Analysis in Forma in Forma for Design Forum

Just a little ideea here: Since Forma can do Solar Analysis an Wind Analysis, it should do Seismic (Earthquake) Analysis too. I mean, a full structural analysis with eigenvalues and vibration modes and response spectra and even automatic syntethic accelerogram generator. I am so sick entire of ETABS software being considered and used as the "standard" structural software. Any cloud-based alternative would be so much welcomed.

Hi,
Very interesting! We would need to review this more in details, so I cannot guarantee anything, but this seems very interesting so we will take a good note of it.

Thank you very much for sharing!
