topic Site Map Area in Forma for Design Forum

I have made a number of sites in a project. My site image is not big enough, and while playing around in the create site page, I was able to make the site image slightly bigger. Is there a way to change the map area of an existing site? Or can I create a new project with the new site area and insert the copied buildings from the old project?

Hi,

You can change the map area by ordering a new terrain on an existing site. In the left menu, press the icon that looks like a globe, press the blue button "Browse contextual data", select a data source (a terrain) and in the next screen you can now select the area the terrain should cover. Ie the map area.

After the terrain has been downloaded you can press the thumbnail for the new terrain in the list of contextual data sets in the left panel to replace the existing terrain with the new one.

Best regards,
