Autodesk Forma - Feature Request: Animated Analysis Results

As I was working though some analysis with Autodesk Forma I came to the realization that being able to export an animation of certain analysis results would be highly beneficial. For example, with the micro climate results, We are able to choose a month, and select an hour of the day to view. It would be amazing if we could export a series of images automatically for an entire day as as .gif or video format. This would allow us to communicate the impact the design has on a site across an entire day much more easily.

Hi!

Thanks for your feedback and feature request! This week we are working on adding the possibility to export analysis as images, so you will hopefully be able to see and try out the feature very soon. We see that expanding this to export a series of images or an animation/video would be useful as well, and we will consider adding this later.

Hi!

We have now added the possibility to export the analysis results as 4K screen captures. We hope you would like to try it out! You can find the feature by clicking the camera icon at the bottom of the canvas. Let us know if you have any feedback for improvements!

I tested it out and responded to your reply in my other post "Next Gen - Saved Views." in short, this is appreciated and adding the feature to export a series of images across a range of time would take this to the next level.

Well it happened. I had someone specifically ask for an animated sun study analysis. I had to export 48 separate views and create it in photoshop. Luckily this was not difficult but having the ability to export a gif or at bare minimum, a series of analysis at one time, would have been very valuable. I uploaded the gif as a reference for what I am requesting.

Can you say a little about the interaction that you have with the people who are asking for this gif? The kind of outcomes from the interactions. Are there decisions made, trust built, requests for information that wasn't asked for previously, etc?

We are not actively working on an animation export at the moment, so unfortunately I cannot give you a timeline. We review all incoming enhancement requests on a regular basis, hence this request is still something we may pick up at some point. We appreciate your feedback

Hello there ! I really like your product, but to be honest, this animation feature would be really important.
Should we go through other channels to get this feature ?
