Hey @draviTM77H, there is a workaround. My suggestion is to add a terrain pad so that it just emerges above the surface. That will give you a surface for the analysis to provide results. You can learn more about how to do this in this article, but in short, you draw a Zone on the canopy area you would like analysis on, enter the terrain edit mode accessed through the layers list, turn the zone into a pad, and adjust the height as needed.
Please try this out and let me know if you can a result this way?

How to ensure analysis can be run even under canopies/cantilevers/balconies?

Why is it that the wind/microclimate studies are not assessed under a canopy/balcony/cantilever space. For example, I was able to see results on the surface below a canopy in the project for the image on the right. I understand that this is because the surface under the canopy is the ground surface.

However, since forma takes every other surface above the main terrain surface as a "roof" surface, in the project case for the image on the left, the podium which is elevated from the ground is a roof surface, and the building with its canopy sits on this podium roof, and therefore, the analysis does not seem to appear below the canopy area. This makes it difficult to access the impact of the canopy on the walking area of the podium's roof.

Is there a work around to this? Or ability to add a specific surface as the surface to be analysed upon, in between the actually roof of the building, and the ground (in this case, the podium), rather than forma assigning surfaces as "roof" and "ground" within the custom circle of analysis?
