RTX Mode Lighting

Can anyone provide guidance or best practices for adding lighting when using RTX Mode or in general? Whenever we turn RTX mode on, the shadows around workstations become very dark, and we have been testing adding lighting with Directional, Point and Area options without much success. Any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks!

If you add a Directional Light and change its Angle setting to be a much larger value (e.g., 90 instead of 0.75) and increase its Intensity setting (e.g., 2.5 instead of 0.5), then the shadows cast by that light in RTX Mode will be very soft (like a light in a room) rather than hard (like sunlight on a clear day). This will "brighten" up the scene in RTX Mode with only a single light source required. (It will look very bright in the non-RTX Mode renderer though.)

You can also get a similar effect with two directional lights each shining opposing directions with a smaller Angle (e.g., 30 instead of 90) without adjusting their Intensity. This will soften and lighten the shadows without as harsh an effect on non-RTX Mode:
