Tote Part Placement Issue

Dear Team,

The combiner is placing the parts into the tote. Although the tote has sufficient space, we are observing that some parts are positioned near the edges of the tote.

Note: All parts should be fully contained inside the tote.

There is no file attached but I assume you mean this:

The "Simple" packing method that the tote uses has a fixed offset in the x- and y-direction. This offset is chosen based on the default size of the tote. If the size is increased this can lead to items visually protruding throught the walls of the tote shape.

If you edit the packing method (in the FlowItemBin) so that the offsets are scaled based on the ratio of actual to default size, this should not happen. The model I took the screenshot in used mm as length unit. The scaling factor needs to be the default size of the tote (1m x 0.7m x 0.55m) in the model length unit.

Sorry, I totally missed that the location coordinates would already be scaled based on the model units. You don't need to normalize the offsets, only use "0.025*current.size.x" and so on without the division.
