    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hey&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/17310669"&gt;@mohamed_awad11&lt;/a&gt;,&amp;nbsp;one feature you can use in USD files is layering. Omniverse has some &lt;A href="https://docs.omniverse.nvidia.com/extensions/latest/ext_core/ext_layers.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;documentation on Layers&lt;/A&gt;, but ultimately it's a way for you to separate your files in a way so you can have shape files in a different .usd file, separate from the main .usd. The main usd file can reference that shape file. OpenUSD has some &lt;A href="https://openusd.org/release/tut_referencing_layers.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;other documentation&lt;/A&gt; on how to do this.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi all,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is there a way to replace an existing 3D shape in Omniverse with a higher-quality model?
