Draw surrogate resizes when clicked

Hi,

When I click on the elevator, the Car in that draw surrogate changes size.
I can revert it to its original size by running the script, but why does it change size every time I click?

Hello,

The exact reasons for this occurence is a bit puzzeling to me too, but basically it happens because the elevator object has some internal code that attempts to rescale its surogates so that you can heighten the length of the legs without maiking the cart taller. Something has gone wrong inside the object and Im not perfectly sure what.

Fortunately it was easy to solve. I made a new elevator object and placed it inside CHT2 in the attached model.

The new elevator object you placed is the same as mine in that it resizes when clicked. However, the resized size of your elevator is closer to what I want. Thank you.
