[ FlexSim 19.2.2 ]

There is a requirement for a barge to be tow by tow tugs from an anchorage to another anchorage. This has being modeled using "Use transport" to call a tow tug (as transport) to transport the barge (as flowitem). This seems to work well, however the statistics of the Berth object which is used to model the anchorage does not track waitingfortransport time, though the profile have the state in the list. Is this a bug?

Is there a workaround? That is, how can we track this time instead?

We have the trigger points of "End Processing" trigger to "On Exit" trigger but tracking the lapse time between these two triggers seems to also include the time when downstream object is not ready to accept the vessel which is not desirable.

Attached is a model modify from tutorial 3.: floworks-tut3-sample-issue-192-transport.fsm

waitingfortransportstatemissing.png. Underneath the moving vessel is a transport named towtug as shown in the attached pic.

<DEL></DEL>

You are correct, Waiting for Transport task has not been implemented on the FloWorks loading point.

When the loading point cannot release its item because there is no availability downstream, its state will be set to Blocked; while it is waiting for transport the state should be Idle, in the current version -- maybe you can use that to differentiate between the two cases.

I will put an item on the dev list to add Waiting For Transport to the Berth states.
