I need specific technical and security information about FlexSim webserver's architecture. Where can I find it, please?

Not limited to his, but starting wit it:

- what is the encryption level used between client and server?

- what are the dependencies used on both sides (security-wise)?

Hi Gui, if you implement your webserver using IIS, doesn't that handle all security/encryption?

I need official information to attend my company's requirements. It is not about having an alternative solution; it is about having an official statement from FlexSim about the security capabilities of their solution. I am still in need of this information.

The FlexSim Webserver is a simple HTTP server that can interface with FlexSim software and respond to HTTP requests with information from a FlexSim model. It lacks many features, including security and authentication features, commonly found in fully-fledged 3rd party web servers. It is not meant to replicate features of mainstream web servers but the FlexSim Webserver can be used in conjunction with 3rd party web servers when additional features are desired or required.

For features like security, authentication, or any other web server features beyond the simplest HTTP request/response, please proxy the FlexSim Webserver behind a fully-fledged 3rd party web server of your choice that includes such features. Sample guides are available for using the FlexSim Webserver with the following common webservers:
