Separator Problem

I got a combiner that combine between a boxes and a pallet , then a separator which separate between them , but the pallet after the separation it takes the space like he still has the boxes so i put the pallet after being separate to a queue they have a lot of space between them , here its the model run and you will see it , anyone has a solution ? Projet_Sim.fsm

Hi Hayder,

The separate mode of your separator3 is set to "split." Change it to "unpack" to solve your problem.

Hello @Hayder,

This is because the bounding box is expanded on the pallet when the item are loaded onto it. You can write a code the changes the box back once its ready to leave the separator.

In the post I linked, Jason provides a FlexSim library file for you to load into your model. The auto size pallet will be added to your flow item bin and you can change your pallet source to the new auto size pallet.
