Pull from a list but not create a back order if unable to pull

Is it possible to attempt to pull from a list but not create a back order if it fails to pull a qualifying item? I tried Max wait time of 0 to pull the token out of "Pull from list" activity but it creates a back order.

In the Max Wait Time field, if you choose "No Wait", I think that might behave differently. A wait time of zero schedules an event in zero time, like a breathe, before the token moves on. "No Wait" means there is no event scheduled, so I supsect the backorder would not be created.
