[ FlexSim 23.0.7 ]

Hello

I am writing this for advice on my simulation. I am a newbie but i want to make this simulation working and i am wondering if My thinking is right. What I am doing is similar to the tutorial (that's what i thought) but i have trouble moving things from the tutorial into my simulation. I don't want AGV to going in loops but to decide where to go based on empty queues. I wanted to test if making one floor will be possible but i came across some problems

Hi

I think that i dont fully understand the whole agv process flows. I want my model to be running like that: There are 3 floor on the station and one ground floor, the place that i circled in the picture is a place from a robot will take shaft from the pallet to the machine (lets call it processor).

The rest of the queues on the station are going to be places to store pallets. There are two AGVs that should be moving pallets from the different floors into processor and after the processor is done with his work AGV should take the palet from the processor to the empty queue on the 1 or 3 floor it will be storage. I dont know if i am clear with my thinking. Can you tell me is that possible to do?

PS. The start of the simulation can look two ways.

First is that both AGVs start from the ground level and they fill queues that are empty on the station. After all the spaces are filled with pallets with shaft they will start traveling to the processor

Second i start with all the queues filled in the station and

Job i want to simulate is for example to have AGVS start on the 2 floor (the same floor that the processor is), go to the 1 floor using elevator, take pallet from the queue, go back to the 2 floor, go to the processor, leave the pallet, go back to the place where agv started (is like parking point), wait for the processor to finish the job and then go to the processor again take pallet and move it to the empty storage.

I would encourage you to read about the AGV template in our manual and you can watch some youtube videos. Then I would encourage you to break down your questions and only ask a single question in a post.

You will also want to check out your universities materials for learning the software.
