I have a problem where I want the pallets to keep turning forever and the boxes go in and out but on the exit the pallet and the box are exiting together.

You have placed an Exit Transfer that moves items to the exit conveyor. Remove it if they should continue on forever.

You are also not setting the itemtype anywhere, so your condition to move the box will never be true. The usage of the deprecated "itemtype" property is also discouraged in favor of using labels.

I meant that you should use a label in the custom code to detect whether to move the item or not.

What if the situation were reversed? For example, in this scenario, the incoming parts form a bottleneck while waiting for the pallet to be available to combine.

What if the situation were reversed? For example, if the output station is the bottleneck, and as long as there's a part at the station, the entire carousel stops because it can't unload. The way it is right now, it just releases all the parts without checking if the conveyor is full. Can you help me with this, @FelixMoehlmann ?

If there is a backlog on the input conveyor then the loop would need to be faster or have a higher pallet density. Logic wise I don't see an issue with the items bunching up.

To control the output and stop the loop until the item could be moved to the output conveyor I would use a small Process Flow. When a pallet with an item arrives at the DP, all conveyors in the loop get stopped (connecting them to a motor means you only need to stop the motor). A Photo Eye on the output conveyor signals if the item can be moved or not. The token enters a zone with a capacity limit of one and only leaves the zone once the item has passed the PE. This stops further items from being moved when the conveyor is already full. After the item is moved the conveyors are resumed.
