topic Non-Accumulating Conveyor Stats in FlexSim Forum

[ FlexSim 18.0.10 ]

H1,

nonaccumulatingconveyorstates.fsm,

I have a simple conveyor test model consisting mainly of a side transfer from a non-accumulating conveyor.

I am monitoring the utilisation stats, and it seems that when a non-accumulating conveyor has a side transfer it is placed into state Conveying when it is empty after the first item has exited the conveyor even if the conveyor is then empty. Accumulating conveyors are placed into state Empty as I would expect.

Can anyone explain what's going on or if this is just a bug/feature that we need to work around? I've tested in various versions going back a couple of years and the behaviour is the same - I can't be the first to notice this!

This is definitely a bug. I will add it to the dev list.
