[ FlexSim 22.1.0 ]

I have setup with two racks facing each other in each aisle. When I try to place an item in the rack it gets placed in bay 6, rack 55 when it is supposed to go to bay 12. I have changed bay progression and stride but did not help. When I change the bay progression on Rack 55 forklift travels to incorrect aisle to store the object.

I think the bay is correct. I did not realize the orientation. The problem is the fork lift is using wrong aisle to place object. Highlighted is the pick face it should use but for some reason forklift is using aisle next to it to place items.

Model is called ErrorInPlacingItem

There exists an example in manual warehouse. One side of an aisle slots numbers are even, the other side uneven in slot progression. And there is the warehouse demo model.

I checked that and had the racks setup accordingly. But the forklift somehow is going to the wrong aisle to place.

I can’t see it in the picture. Is there an object connection from a network node in the aisle to a rack object, which you want to load or unload from its backside?

There is a center port connection. I also had a A connection but that did not work either.

A center port connection addresses a dispatcher to transfer a transport tasksequence for transporters. Most important is an object connection between network node and the right rack. If there is an network node ahead which has already got a connection to the involved rack but in the wrong aisle, you must change the destination object in the travel task of the tasksequence from rack object to the intended network node in the right aisle.
FlexSim internal logic looks for nearest network node to an object for load or unload jobs. But the default transport tasksequence has travel tasks (1st and 4th task) to let a taskexecuter travel to an object. This can be a network node. 2nd Task lets a taskexecuter begin the load operation, 5th task is responsible for an unload operation. If you divert the transporter to a network node which is connected to a rack in the right aisle, you can get around your problem.

It is going to bay 12, which is fine. It is going to top rack from the bottom aisle.

When i set the transporter to not use travel offsets it works correctly. When I set it to use navigator for offset travel it messes up
