[ FlexSim 21.1.5 ]

So I am adding load as trailer to the task executor. Some will have 1,2 or 3 trailers behind their back. I don't want a task executor completely ignoring the trailer loads and driving onto it.

In the image below the task executor is trailing a pallet but the task executor behind it drives on top on the load of the one driving ahead.

How do I solve this?

It should be observing the distance if you've implemented it correctly - here's a very simple example:

TrailerAccumulationDistance.fsm

Thank you. I am still confused on how to implement this. So I have multiple AGV going different routes and pick up from separate queues. How can I implement this? I will really appreciate if you could you help me by pointing down steps and a model that does that? I would wanna implement that in my model.

Also I have created a new AGV type tugger in my AGV Network so not all default AGV do the trailing.

Hi @Jay K9,

I have edited Jason's model to show how to add more than one trailer, as well as showing one way to have an agv travel to multiple queues and load items at each one. Also in regards to your original question, you need to make sure that your agv network is set to default accumulation. This is done by selecting the agv path, and then setting the accumulation option to Default accumulation.

The way to have an agv attach more than one trailer, you will either need to use a subflow that loops through all of the items you want to attach, as shown in the TaskExecuter1 Process flow, or attach the items one by one as you travel to their location as shown in the processFlow. This process flow also shows how the agv can loop between multiple jobs.

v21-traileraccumulationdistance_JW.fsm
