Yes - it can be done just using the break-to function as I indicated. It's not as simple as using a process flow though so as a student it might be easier to learn the process flow - it depends how confident you are at changing the FlexScript in a trigger. Again practise will improve your abilities. Learning process flows will serve you well in the future as it simplifies a lot of complex processes where the overall process state is represented rather than various labels and events tied to 3D objects.

[ FlexSim 22.0.10 ]

Is it possible to parameterize the transport so that it takes a certain quantity of products of one type and a different quantity of another type?......I have different racks of different sizes, and sometimes I need the forklift to take more than one rack.

@ivan , welcome to this forum. May I asked what is your background for a discrete event simulation like FlexSim. If you haven’t got any further knowledge, I suggest to do most of the tutorials in the manual to get a basic understanding how you can build a model, because your question would be a different one, if you had done several basic tutorials before. And yes, it is possible to do what you want.

Yes - and the technique depends how you are implementing your transport, so put something together and try it and post your model if you get stuck so we can see what you tried (having done tutorials in transport and process flow)

Some tips:

If you're using standard tasks sequences then consider looking at the 'break to' function.

If you're using a process flow that doesn't issue multiple task sequences for the 'same' operation (and then also could use the break -to function), then you can construct the constraint logic in your process flow and issue just the tasks you want one by one.

The problem is that I have no knowledge of the process flow, could it be done only by parameterizing the 3D objects?
