How to optimize AGV system?

Hello!

I am trying to optimize the AGV system to run more smoothly. I don't really understand why AGV sometimes stay or waits at some of the control points for some period of time.

In the process flow in Transport Task I have a "Travel to pick item" operation where I need to check the checkbox "wait until complete". This is maybe one of the reasons that sometimes the second AGV needs to stop.

Is there any way to optimize my system?

You can switch on the visual depiction of allocations in the AGV Network Properties in the ToolBox.

This will help you understand why things are waiting for allocation.

Thank you for your answer. I think, I will understand why things are waiting for allocation now.

Now I have a problem just with the "Travel to pick item" operation where I need to check the checkbox "wait until complete" to move the item to tote at the pickup point.

Do you have some suggestions on how to change the Transport task so that AGV 2 won't wait for AGV 1 to complete the "travel to pick item" task.

If I understand correctly - you currently only have one invocation of the Transport Task process (one token). If you want two processes at the same time then create two tokens in the source.
