How to stacker reclaimer with crane

Hi, everyone

I was wondering if it's possible to make my crane do the job as stacker reclaimer. How can i make my crane taking item from queue 1 to cluster at one time and then moving item from cluster to queue2 in another time. Thank you!

@Andre T6 do you want to move the flowitem to each cluster queue one at a time? When do you need to the flowitem to be moved to Queue2? Please clarify your modeling logic.

Also please note that ver 19.0.0 is not supported. Please use another version.

@David Chan so here how the item flow :

there is a source below the crane that supply item to each cluster at time 0, then the crane send the item from the cluster into queue 2 while waiting item arrive from source 1 to queue 1 ( in the left side of pict). After the item from source 1 arrive in queue 1, the crane will stop sending item from cluster to queue 2 for a certain time and sending item from queue 1 to each cluster for a certain time.

Thanks for the model sir. If we consider this model as mine, the difference is the 100 items already in the queue 2 - queue 4 at 0 second, and the crane moving all the 100 items to queue 5 while the item that coming to queue 1 stacking until the 100 items has been moved to queue 5.

What i want to do is moving some of the 100 items to queue 5 while waiting some the items from source 1 arrives in queue 1. Lets say 5 item arrives in queue 1, then the crane stops working on queue 2 and moves 3 item from queue 1 to queue 2.

How to make the crane work like this?

This is like the works of crane in coal yard, moving coal from queue 1 to coal yard at a time and moving coal from coal yard to queue 5 at another time.

Hello @Andre T6,

I believe I have modified @David Chan's model to achieve your desired outcome. Instead of just using the 3D model logic, I have added a process flow to the model to aid with deciding which items to retrieve first. I added a priority and a destination label to each item that changes when it enters a new queue, and I just have them push to lists when they are ready to be transported to the next area. Since I set the items in Queue1 to have a higher priority than the cluster queues, those items will get pulled and transported first, which seems to be what you want. I hope this helps!
