Assign labels to Process flow vs Process flow variable

Assign Labels to Process Flow and Process Flow Variables both are accessible by every token, so how to decide which one to choose between process variable and process flow label for the given condition. Any criteria or any thumb rule to remember while choosing between them.

Process Flow Variables have some extra functionality that’s meant to help when creating custom instanced flow objects. The user accesible variables create fields in quick properties so that a user of your custom object can see what properties they can change about your object.

But if you’re not making custom objects then you’re probably fine using either one.
