How can I change max allocation of control area based on token label?

I want max allocation of control area to be 100 if the flow item is token.person but need the max allocation to be 1 when it's acquired by token.item

How do I go about doing that?

Could you please provide an example model? It's hard to solve a problem when we know none of the details behind the scenes.

If I understand you correctly, there can be up to 100 people in some control area (CA), but only 1 "item". If so, then please answer these questions:

What happens when there are several people in the CA when an item is about to arrive? Will the CA wait for those people to leave so the item can enter? Or will the item enter the CA and be okay with the other people being there? Or are there two maxes, 100 for people and 1 for item, so that they can coexist?

When a person and item arrives at the same time the item gets the priority and once it passes the CA again is taken over by person.

Thank you, but I need some more specifics. Like I asked above, does the item wait for the CA to be clear and then enter? How do items or people enter the CA?

It would help if you could provide some sample model or screenshot so I could understand better.
