Unable to connect to the mysql localhost server using flexsim connector.

please find the flexsim snap, mysql server details snap, mysql db snap.
I am not able to connect to mysql db from flexsim, i am running mysql application and flexsim application on same system.

need support to create connection between mysql db and flexsim.

Have you tried removing the ",3306" from the database address, so that the only text is localhost?

Yes i have tried putting only localhost, but still it does not work

Can you connect with another application like Excel or MSAccess to import data? Is there a confluct on port 3306?

Have you tried type sakila.db in databasename field? I made this mistake a few days ago.

I have tried connecting via MS SQL it has connected successfully, but with mysql it is not working

So you can't connect excel or MSAccess to mysql either - that suggests it's a MySQL/machine configuration problem. In testing a similar install to yours with the same port numbers FlexSim connects fine just using "localhost". Have you checked the credentials? You could also try shanice.c's suggestion.

I also had this issue while trying to connect to MySQL. I am not totally sure why this happens but I fixed it removing the lastest version I installed of MySQL Server (8.0.29) and then installing an older version (in my case I installed 8.0.1)

After that I could connect to the database succesfully

I have experienced the same error with version 22 of FlexSim. I was able to solve it with version 24.1.1 of FlexSim and version 8.0.26 of MySQL.

Have you been able to solve it?

Which version of FlexSim is giving you this problem?
