Variable operator speed based on Excel or a table.

Hi everyone: I wanted to ask whether it is possible to adjust an operator’s speed based on a spreadsheet or, failing that, using an internal table. If the answer is yes, could you please give me step-by-step instructions on how to do this? Many thanks in advance. Best regards. Jorge Diaz

Hello,

you can change the variable "maxspeed" (also "acceleration" and "deceleration") on any event, you need a trigger/event or an activity that sets that variable at the moment you need it, you can read the new speed from a table, so you execute something like setvarnum(Model.find("Operator1"), "maxspeed", Table("mymaxspeedstable")[row][column]); at the moment that you need to change the speed. Consider that if the taskexecuter is moving when you change the speed this way, it wont use the updated speed until the next travel task, if you set the new speed when the task executer is not on a travel task, the next time it moves it will use the new speed.
