It'd be great if there was an easy way to copy the path or file location of a clip in the timeline to share.

You could also use the Python API to get data from your clips and create customized text, XML or even CVS file.

Thank you Stephane. That's a good start. I'd love to be able to right-click on an individual clip and just copy the path that way.

What you are looking for is not available out of the box BUT like I wrote, the Python API would allow to get this data very easily. Look at Logik.tv and if I remember well, some users have written Python scripts doing this.

Hello @dobey,

Attached is the python custom action you can add to /opt/Autodesk/shared/python to add the Copy File Path to Clipboard custom action to the Timeline Segment's context menu.

Please be aware that this forum does not allow .py file to be attached so I changed the extension to .txt.
You will need to change the extension back to .py for the script to work.
