Particles question

just dipping my toe into the Particles options and have one question that i'm hoping someone can help with....

is there a way to have the particle generator create particles with a range of colour values?

I know i can set a single diffuse colour in the Particle Generator/Geometry settings, but i want to have a particle either start at one colour and evolve over time to another (ie. a spark glowing white hot then cooling to daker reds) or to have a random colour picked from a pre defined range.

Any pointers would be really helpful.

Hi Adam,

You can set random colour variations to your particles in the PARAM2 menu of the Generator tab.

Just increase the colour variation and you will get random colours per particle.

Unfortunately, I dont think you can set a colour range but the colours are random.

i missed that option when looking ! theres just so many identical looking boxes on screen at once.
