topic auto type in Flame Forum

Just curious if something exists to do auto type, similar to auto paint that I can type several sentences and have the letters come on over a certain amount of frames, like someone sitting typing at a computer?

I realize I can do this with a gmask but I am just trying to find a new way to do it.

Hello Bill,

You can do that by creating a transparency animation in Action’s 3D Text and then cascading the effect using the controls in the Char Axis submenu.

I think there is a preset in the Action’s Presets node as well.
