Hi Adam,

It's the new place to store your timeline FX, grades , etc. instead of saving to the desktop reels.

On linux it's hold forward pen button and swipe right to reveal/hide the panel.

Carl

Recently noticed a new window that keeps opening up in the right hand side of my monitor (screengrab attached), and its causing me real hassles when my broadcast monitor stops showing my timeline until i shut the window.

I don't know what its called, so can't search for it in the manual, and i don't know what i'm doing to keep opening it up...is there a way to disable it?

thanks

adam

Hi Adam,

This window is called the "Explorer".

This panel allows you to access all you TimelineFX in the Conform, Timeline, Effects and Batch Environments.

As Carl said, you can disable it if you need more room but I was unaware that it affected the broacast display output. Please log that with support to be investigated because the Explorer is not a viewer.

I have done a whole series on the Flame Learning Channel covering the Explorer and it may help you make use of the tool.

Thanks

Grant

Thanks Grant,

having its name will certainly help..

i'll try figure out exactly what its doing on my system. Its possible i'm invoking it by mistake and its behaving as intended.

I do know whenever it appears, my BroadcastMonitor goes blank - which can get a little annoying!

regards

Adam
