    <description>&lt;P&gt;I did find out how to do what I want to do. Make the boss feature Turn off the rough, turn on semi finish, click helical side finish set pitch, and boom its done.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am trying helical ramp on the profile on the outside of a boss feature down to depth, What is the easiest way to do that?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Build the feature using the "Side" option, either interactively or by means of a curve. Define the feature as you like all the way until it closes the dialog. Open the properties of the feature and go to the strategy tab. At the bottom of the tab you'll see an option for "Helical Side Finish". Check that box and enter the pitch (step-down or depth-of-cut) to the right. Simulate and verify that you got what you're looking for.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope that helps.       <description>&lt;P&gt;That only works on the finish pass. I am trying to get the roughing pass to do that very thing. I don"t want the rough tool to ramp next to the boss I"m trying to create. I want the rough tool to ramp (cork screw) down around the boss.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I should have been a tad more specific in my OP.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
