90 Deg Milling Attachment

Hi, Using FeatureCAM, Can anyone help me program my 2.5D Mill with a 90 Deg Milling head attachment. Need to mill an internal hex with it.

Hi @Anonymous

Here is a video of right angled head support within FeatureCAM. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LBB38RTnkZs

It is of turn/mill but same procedure to be followed for milling. Only thing is you need to switch on 4th axis positioning in stock indexing tab and select 'Index around stock Z axis' to enable right angled head support in milling document.

Thank you for the video. I got it to work and post code correctly. I could not get the holder to work, after I selected enable features that can only be cut with 90 deg Head... I did not get the box to appear in the layers to select the 90 deg head. Perhaps to do with my standard issue license. But for what I need at the moment, the code and not the perfect simulation, it works for me.
