Having an issue with FeatureCAM's bounding boxes when using the API. We're using the API to import Inventor files with multiple solids (one stock, others to indicate information) and then generate CNC programs to manufacture them. We import them either as a .ipt, or a .sat file. Once imported, we're seeing instances where the bounding box returned for some bodies is incorrect, up to 0.4 - 2.0 mm off over a a distance of around 20-25 mm.

Has anyone else noticed a similar issue with either bounding boxes or other math functions? I'm wondering what the cause is and how to resolve it.

Thanks!

Just a shot in the dark, are there any trimmed surfaces that the software is seeing as untrimmed?
