    <description>&lt;P&gt;We have an FA20S and we constantly have to go back to using another CAM software to get both 3ax and 4ax posts for the wire.&amp;nbsp; It would be really nice if we could use Fusion360 for both our CNCs and EDM.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; 4 years later and still nothing.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

experienced Mitsubishi wire guy and he immediately pointed out that the U/V coordinates in the above posts are not "modal" and the&amp;nbsp;post processor&amp;nbsp;MUST output&amp;nbsp;U/V parameters on every line&amp;nbsp;even if there is no&amp;nbsp;action&amp;nbsp;in that plane.&amp;nbsp; Each of the posts above violate that point in at least one line.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Since the geometry of my model and its simulation output are precisely on the money, but the Mitsubishi EDM controller check display didn't match, either the post processor was wrong or the Mits was misinterpreting the Gcode.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I gave my geometry to him and asked if he would gen the Gcode for the Mits since his shop used a lot of them&amp;nbsp;for decades.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The&amp;nbsp;code&amp;nbsp;he&amp;nbsp;produced, using another CAM software package, had U/V&amp;nbsp; taper commands in every line AND displayed correctly on the Mits controller       <description>&lt;P&gt;We have an FA20S and we constantly have to go back to using another CAM software to get both 3ax and 4ax posts for the wire.&amp;nbsp; It would be really nice if we could use Fusion360 for both our CNCs and EDM.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; 4 years later and still nothing.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
