SECOND SETUP FOR SECOND SIDE

I'm trying to do the second side if a part (face and chamfer) but want to have separate NC code. Do I need to create a whole new document or can a second setup be created in the original document.

Yes, you can do as many setups in a document as you need. These can be posted as individual NC files or one long file with program stops between each setup.

Great thank you, I figured it was something I missed. You wouldn't happen to know how to get the second UCS to be on the corner of my part (there is a rad/chamfer on the corner) it seems to want to be on the stock corner, I ended up moving it over with dimensions (as an offset) not sure that is the best.

When you create a new UCS follow these steps. in the second screenshot, down at the bottom. Notice how the X Y and Z are blue? Click on the X and then you can snap to the edge where you want it located, do the same for Y and Z. Some times you have to also use the "Rotate 90 degrees around Z axis" to get it lined up correctly.
