Factory Tab Missing in AutoCAD 2024

I just downloaded Factory Design Utilities 2024, I also downloaded Naviswork, Inventor, and AutoCAD version 2024. When I open inventor, the factory tab appears but when I open AutoCAD, the factory tab disappears. I have tried steps tutorial to fix this from product support Autodesk but the FACTAPPLICATION option is not there.

I've tried to reinstall AutoCAD 2024 and Factory Design Utilities 2024 but factory tab still doesn't appear. Is there a fix for this?

Hello,

I would start by verifying the installation using the AdskLicensingSupportTool. It determines the status of the components, installed versions and so on. Out of experience, this problem was often caused by AutoCAD and only a new installation, removing all the remaining files manually, did resolve it. Uninstall FDS, uninstall AutoCAD, remove the remaining files, reinstall AutoCAD and then install FDU on top of it all. Also make sure to use administrator priviliges doing this, as well when starting AutoCAD for the first time.

I´ve attached the licencing support tool. It also allows to enable logging for the programs and tools, this could prove helpful in resolving the issue.

Hm,

is it possible to load the FDUs like any other ACAD extension? Have a look at this video. They guide you through step by step. If this does not work, you might want to consider enabling logging with the AdskLicensingSupportTool and try and send the protocols to an Autodesk employee active in the respective forum.

Same problem here. FactApplication.cuix is not there.
