    <description>Hi @Anonymous,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I hope you're doing well. Instead of modeling a potentiometer directly you are better off using two resistors and adjusting their values, for most applications that's all a potentiometer is. The DMOD.mdl file is just a standard silicon diode model, for LEDs you would need the forward voltage to be higher so if you need the sim to reflect that acurately you are better off finding a SPICE model from a manufacturer.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Try to use standard models whenever possible, if those aren't available then you'll need to get models from the manufacturer.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Best Regards,</description>

      <title>Mapping models for simulation</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm trying to simulate a schematic in EAGLE. So i'm mapping the components, how do I know which models go to what device? I looked up online and an LED is modeled under DMOD.mdl. How am I to know if that is correct or that it goes to an LED? Additionally i'm looking to map a potentiometer but I have no idea what model to use to map this device. How would I figure this out?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
