topic Link between Footprint and 3D Package in EAGLE Forum

Hi,

I have some updates pending on my library which are related to the 3d packages. (I didn't update the whole lib because it is creating a mess)

So by only updating a single 3d package, eagle tells me, that it also updates the footprint. Why is that so? If I say yes, eagle shows me the local and new version of the footprint, which are different.

Is it possible that a colleague of mine is using the same 3d package in another library with another footprint? And this fires back to my library???

Kind regards
Paul
