Eagle trial won't start

I installed trial versions of Eagle 9.6.2 and also Fusion 2.0.19725 x86_64.

I was told that, with these two installed, Eagle would run. It does not, the start screen comes on, says it is loading then it disappears, Eagle not running. Also, I do not see an option to start Eagle within Fusion.

Please help! I need to quote a pcb layout job that was started with 9.6.2, and it would be nice to open the work that has been done so far to help the quoting process.

@ga_elentech,

I hope you're doing well. Fusion doesn't interact with EAGLE, so installing both is not a problem. I have both installed right now.

If you have Fusion installed and running. You can upload your EAGLE designs into Fusion and open them there and continue your work without issue.

That's what I would do.

Hello all,

Replacing the two dll's mention above worked! That is, Eagle runs now.

I will not be using Fusion right now, but I was told that it needs to be installed for Eagle to run. Is this correct?

This is not correct, you can install EAGLE and it will run without installing Fusion.

I just purchased a Fusion license, it was the only choice on the website to get an Eagle license. How to I change my free Eagle trial software to the licensed version?

Today I bought what I thought was an Eagle subscription. It said it was Fusion. So, how to I change the Eagle trial version that I have to the license version (so all the features are enabled)?

Never mind, after a couple tries and closing/reopening and login in the Eagle app licensed version finally started.

I had the same problem and asked the same questions. Please respond to me what you sent to ga_elentech regarding the DLL's. Also I can never find the files extracted during install. Thanks rickwehr7@aol.com
