Dragging 45deg tracks

Many designers make extensive use of 45deg tracks to layout their board. To tidy up the tracks (and to create space), one needs to drag them closer to each other quite often. Take a look at the example in the figure below:

Unfortunately eagle seems unable to do that. This is what I get when I attempt to drag the 45deg tracks to the left:

I had only selected the 45deg segments. But when I drag them to the left, eagle automatically highlights the adjacent horizontal and vertical tracks, moving them as well. Moving the 45deg segments results in a complete mess...

Thanks for your suggestion. Fully agree, I have added your comments to an existing enhancement request for this feature.

In the meantime, the route command with loop removal on can help alleviate some of your pain since you can very easily redraw the 45 degree bend with the ROUTE command.

You can also use the "Miter" command to done this.
