Possible alternate grid bug report in Eagle v8.2.2

I updated Eagle v8.2.1 Mac 64bit to Eagle v8.2.2 Mac 64bit and discovered that when placing a wire or net the program does not switch drawing to the alternate grid when pressing the Alt/Option key. The alternate grid value does change correctly in the grid value display. Eagle v8.2.1 works as expected.

This one was found when v8.2.2 was released. Hopefully they'll have it fixed in the next release.

As a newly registered user I've come here to understand if this was a known issue - having 20 minutes of frustration in trying to get the alt-grid to work (MAC). I'm disappointed that I couldn't find details of this on the product support pages for Eagle, and it's only here on the Forum that this appears to be a recognised issue.

Is there any obvious place that I've missed on Autodesk that announces the known bugs?

Also, is there any schedule for a release date for a fix for this?

For now, reset the default grid to the alt settings?, I guess?

Not that I am aware of but I think that could be useful.

I'm hoping that this will be fixed in the next release and they are pretty quick about getting releases out these days so I would expect it to be fixed soon. You'll have to wait for Jorge/Ed from Autodesk to confirm that for sure though.

Yes, don't forget that you can create grid setting aliases and assign shortcuts to any arbitrary command string so you can set up quick access to any number of grid settings this way.
