8.4.1 new board default board size color from yellow to black

I can't find where to change the new board outline from default yellow to black. Also want to change dimension layer 20 from yellow to black.

Hello Roger,

I hope you're doing well. You can adjust the color palettes by going to Options > SET > Colors Tab. Pick the palette for the background you are using. On the top row you will find the yellow-orange color that used for the Dimension layer which is the layer on which your outline is drawn.

All you have to do is change that color and the square directly below it(that's it's highlight color) to be whatever color you want.

Small addition to what Jorge said: If you just want the board to be black make sure that you have "black" enabled in The "Layout" section of Options > User Interface.

You can also change the layer color for the dimension layer, by going into the layers dialog, double clicking the dimension layer, and choosing "black" there.

oh another small addition maybe, if you come from an older EAGLE version (< 8.3.0), it helps to throw away your .eaglerc and start from scratch. The default colors changed and things can look a bit strange if you keep the old eaglerc in place.
