I tried it and it is perfect! That was seriously messing with my head! Thank you so much. I googled this for a long time and found nothing on doing this. I'm very happy now. Thanks again.

I have been using Solidworks for years and absolutely love the way the scroll wheel zoom works. You drag the wheel towards you to zoom in, and push the wheel away to zoom out. It is extremely intuitive and just feels right to me. Now I've got back into pcboard design and am using Eagle, I've had Eagle years ago and fell right into the work process very quickly. I can't stand the zoom though... I try to zoom in and it goes to the wrong area, I sit there zooming in and out, trying to get what I want to work on in front of me. To me it is unusable. I have searched the internet and can find no way to reverse the direction. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Windows 7, Professional, 64bit sp1, HP Z-book intel core i7

Hi @Anonymous,

That's an excellent user name. Welcome to the forums!

Try this, go to options > User Interface in any of the editors. On the bottom left of that window you will find a field that says Mouse Wheel Zoom or similar. The default value is 1.2. Change it to -1.2.

I think you'll be happy with the results.

Please let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Best Regards,
