Hello @Anonymous,

I hope you're doing well. Currently EAGLE doesn't properly support high resolution monitors yet, but that is coming very soon. In the meantime go to Options > User Interface on the bottom right you'll see a parameter called icon size. By default it's set to 16, change it 48 or larger and click OK. You'll have to restart EAGLE but things should look better after that.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Best Regards,

Hello,

Keen to try out EAGLE however I physically can't see it when it loads on my machine. I've managed to get KiCad to work just fine and wanted to see what advantages EAGLE might bring to the table.

I've attached a screenshot so you can see what I see. Just too tiny! Already have settings applied for 225% DPI scaling and everything else has been working OK or I've had workarounds.

Thank you for the reply. I'll give that a go and see if it makes a difference. It's currently unusable.

It seems I've found another issue with Eagle and HiDPI screens.

When I export PCB to the image and then try to print the image or put it in the LibreOffice doc the image is larger than it should be.

It works ok If I print out of the Eagle directly so the problem seems to be the image export. I had no such problem on my previous (non HiDPI) laptop.

Eagle 9.2.2, Linux.
