What is Autodesk's plan for Linux Eagle users WRT migration?

I'm still using Eagle, as Fusion is just inferior in terms of features, performance and flexibility (last I checked). Since Autodesk are shuttering Eagle next year, what's the plan for Linux? The Fusion electronics app is clearly just a web-wrapper (based on the performance, which is around on-par with other web-based schematic/layout editors I've used), so is a Linux build in the works?

I hope you're doing well. The first thing to clear up is that the Fusion Desktop is not a web app, it uses cloud data which it downloads and works from locally while working on a project. When you finish working the work is uploaded to keep the cloud data in sync. So it's a hybrid app, the data is all stored on the cloud but it's overall (certain simulations leverage cloud infrastructure like the signal integrity extension for example) working with the data locally.

There are no plans for now to release Fusion on Linux natively. I know some users have gotten it to run under WINE, that might be worth a shot.

Autodesk is looking to implement a Browser based version of Fusion and it's already available for educational environments. See this page:

For now though it's in the preliminary phases and not much testing has been for Electronics. Autodesk has an initiative promoting device independence but it will be some time before it fully bears fruit.
